Chapter 7 Apologize to Lola on Your Knees!

Zackary's heart ached for a moment. But then, he saw Lola's bruised and swollen face, which reminded him how evil Penelope was. Penelope even hit Lola with the car on purpose. Zackary's heart became tough again.

"You killed Lola's baby, so your bastard couldn't live either. Penelope, you deserved that."

Penelope instantly broke down. "Zack, she wasn't a bastard. She was our daughter. She was your child!"

"Penelope, you are an evil woman. You hurt Lola once and once again. So, even if she was my baby, she couldn't live. I hate you and your kids!"

Penelope was so sad that she felt her heart was broken. Suddenly, she lost the strength to continue questioning Zackary.

Penelope thought, "No wonder he killed our daughter heartlessly. He hates us."

"Zackary, it hurts..." Lola frowned pathetically. "I heard that Penelope fainted, so I came to visit her. But she..."

"Lola, I'll let Penelope pay for what she did." Zackary was so tender when he looked at Lola. But when he saw Penelope, his eyes were filled with ice.

"Penelope, kneel down!"

"What?" Penelope couldn't help but exclaim. She had no idea that Zackary would let her kneel down.

"Apologize to Lola on your knees!"

Penelope said stubbornly, "No! I did nothing wrong. Why should I kneel before Lola?"

"Zackary, I'm all right. Penelope is just having a tough time because she just lost her baby. I'm fine. Zackary, please don't be angry at Penelope. It doesn't hurt at all. I mean it..." Lola said thoughtfully and kindly.

Zackary threatened Penelope and said coldly, "Penelope, kneel down. Or I'll kick Ethan out of the hospital right now!"

Penelope knew that Zackary was serious. Zackary was very powerful. If he issued an order, no hospital in Sea City would take Ethan.

Ethan was using Ethan's life to threaten Penelope and force her to kneel in front of Lola.

Penelope didn't want to make Lola gloat. But thinking of Ethan's condition, Penelope compromised. Ethan was suffering, and his little face was always pale. But still, Ethan smiled at her sweetly and told her not to be sad. Penelope gave in and knelt in front of Lola humbly.

Zackary's expression became stiff. His cold face became gloomier.

Zackary thought, "Penelope knelt down!

"I should have known that. She will do anything for that bastard."

Lola almost couldn't hide the smile on her face. She pinched herself hard and then said softly, "Zackary, don't give Penelope a hard time. Penelope apologized. I believe she will take good care of me."

Zackary withdrew his cold gaze from Penelope's face. "Okay. She is a bitch. Let her look after you, so we don't have to hire a nurse."

Because of what Zackary said, Penelope became Lola's exclusive servant.

Lola wanted tomato soup, so Penelope went to the kitchen and made it for her, though Penelope was in great pain.

Penelope would rather serve a dog than serve Lola. But Zackary had Ethan's life in his hand. Penelope had to endure the humiliation.

Penelope put the tomato soup on the table. Instead of having it, Lola picked up the bowl and poured the soup on the back of her hand resolutely.

After doing that, Lola screamed at the ward door hysterically, "Zackary, help! Penelope burned me!"

Penelope was startled by how Lola abused herself. When she realized what Lola was planning, Penelope knew she was set up again and that Zackary would be angry.

Since she was going to be punished anyway, Penelope decided to make Lola's words true.

"Lola, you like to play innocent, don't you? Fine! Let me help you!"

Suddenly, Penelope picked up the bowl, which still had a lot of soup in it. She used all her strength and poured the soup onto Lola's face without hesitation.
