Chapter 359 Zack, Once a Monster
Seeing the floor of the room and the large bed all covered with bright red rose petals, Penelope was completely taken aback.
Cornelia, however, was exceptionally satisfied with her own masterpiece. She covered her mouth, trying not to laugh too exaggeratedly.
"Penelope, this is Dylan's room. You guys have a good rest tonight!"
Penelope, "..."
She hadn't even figured out how to explain yet, when Cornelia had already firmly shut the room's door, locking her inside as well.
Penelope was in disarray among the rose petals.
She didn't want to stay in the Spencer family's villa any longer. She reached out, about to pull open the room's door to leave, when the door was suddenly pushed open.
Before she could regain her senses, a dark figure had already swept her off her feet, landing her heavily on the large bed strewn with rose petals.
Zackary.
"Mr. Spencer, let go of me!"
"Penelope, no wonder you were so happy when Ralph died! So, you've hooked up with my elder brother! You want to pin that stupid cripple on my brother and even dream of marrying into our Spencer family, you're really dreaming!"
"Mr. Spencer, you've overthought it, I never considered marrying into the Spencer family!"
I had never thought of marrying into the Spencer family...
In other words, she had never thought of marrying him, Zackary!
The more Zackary thought about it, the angrier he became. Especially when he saw the rose petals scattered on the large bed, he felt as if countless firecrackers were ignited inside him.
She didn't want to marry into the Spencer family, yet she was still trying to seduce the eldest brother. How could this woman be so shameless!
Seeing her rosy lips move slightly, afraid that she would utter words that would break his heart even more, he abruptly leaned down and fiercely kissed her lips.
"Penelope, I told you, you are mine! Even if I don't want you anymore, you can only be my, Zackary's, woman!"
Seeing the violent red light in Zackary's eyes, Penelope's heart couldn't help but tremble.
Here, was the Spencer family's villa, Dylan's room.
Cornelia and Dylan were both there. If Zackary had forced himself on her, she wouldn't have been able to live with herself afterwards!
Penelope was not the vain type of woman, but Cornelia was Ethan's grandmother, she genuinely liked her, yet she still didn't want her to become the shameless type of woman in her eyes!
"Zackary, you lunatic!"
With a sudden force in her hand, Penelope harshly slapped Zackary across the face.
Zackary had never imagined that she would dare to slap him. He was momentarily stunned, and when he came to his senses, he was filled with even more violent rage, wishing he could swallow her alive.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The sound of knocking suddenly rang out, and Penelope's face changed drastically. She lowered her voice and hissed at him, "Mr. Spencer, is it fun to force a woman who doesn't love you at all, time and time again? I don't love you at all, please don't touch me anymore!"
"Penelope!" Zackary roared. He really wanted to teach this ungrateful woman a lesson tonight, but the room door was not locked. He didn't want anyone to see her scantily clad. After a moment of thought, he draped his suit jacket over Penelope and headed towards the room door.
Of course, Penelope didn't want to wear Zackary's clothes. She casually straightened out her own shirt, hastily picked up the coat that had fallen on the ground, quickly put it on, and then rushed out of the room like a gust of wind.
Seeing Dylan standing at the door, Penelope felt slightly embarrassed.
But when she thought about the fact that even though he was Ethan's uncle, they would not have any interaction in the future, she gradually felt at ease in her heart.
She asked the servant about Ethan's room, planning to wake him up and take him away later.
Zackary's gaze was firmly locked onto Dylan's handsome face, which bore a striking resemblance to his own. "Big brother, I won't allow you to be with Penelope!"
Dylan didn't pay the slightest attention to Zackary's anger. He gave a faint smile, as refreshing as the first thaw of ice and snow, yet it carried an air of superiority.
"What a strong smell of vinegar!"
The smile on Dylan's lips grew even more unrestrained, "Zack, I've never thought about being with Penelope. I just wanted to see how jealous you could get!"
"Big Brother..."
"Zack, you couldn't let go."
Dylan took a step forward, unhurried and steady. Before Zackary could deny anything, he spoke again, his voice cold, "If you can't let go, why bother deceiving yourself!"
"Big brother, I'm not holding on!" Zackary didn't want to admit that he still cared about Penelope, his face turning ashen as he spoke, "I don't love Penelope at all! I just want to be with Lola!"
Dylan didn't speak immediately, he just looked deeply into Zackary's eyes.
Looking at the awkward and obstinate Zackary in front of him, his thoughts gradually drifted away. It was as if he saw once again, the young Zack who was covered in white hair and ridiculed as a monster.
When little Zack was very young, he was an exceptionally adorable baby. However, after he was injected with drugs and transformed into a monstrous creature, neither human nor ghost, his temperament changed drastically.
In particular, when he was a child, a playmate he cared about tricked him, which made him become even more paranoid and violent.
That was when little Zack was four years old. The other children outside all said that he, covered in white hair, was a disgusting monster. Nobody wanted to play with him.
A little girl named Kara approached him, took his hand, and said she wanted to be friends with him.
Little Zack was so happy, so happy. On his face, covered with white fur, a rare smile appeared.
Kara did not play with him, she approached him only to deliberately mock him, making him embarrassed.
She took him to the square where many children were gathered. She shouted loudly to her playmates, "I brought the monster!"
The children swarmed over, throwing all sorts of filth onto little Zack. Some even set fire to the white hair that had grown on his body, intending to burn him alive, this so-called monster.
When Dylan looked back, he clearly saw the last glimmer of light in little Zack's eyes completely shatter.
Since then, the already reticent little Zack became even more silent. He despised others' betrayal, yet the slightest warmth given to him by others, he remembered even more deeply.
Dylan's thoughts gradually returned. He gently shook his head. Zack was convinced that Penelope had betrayed him. It wouldn't be so easy for him to forgive her.
And he was convinced that Lola had saved him at a terrible cost, and that it was as difficult as climbing to the sky for him to see her true face.
For such Zack, Dylan was somewhat helpless, but more than that, he was heartbroken.
He placed a flash drive in his hand, "Zack, if you care about Penelope, stop doing things you'll regret."
"Big Brother, I won't regret it!"
Dylan gave a faint smile. He didn't argue with him about Penelope anymore, but glanced at the USB in his palm, "Zack, this is the video of Lola and Kaleb entering the hotel that day!"
"Although Samuel had already had some of the video restored, he still asked me to help restore all of the hotel's video from that night. Zack, if you're not busy, take a good look at this video!"
