Chapter 363 Cornelia Prevented Mr. Zackary from Marrying Lola!

Cornelia glanced at the red marks on Lyman's arm, which really did look like they had been twisted by someone.

She turned her face, looking at Lola with immense dissatisfaction, "Lola, why did you deliberately bully Lyman?"

"I..."

Lola really felt wronged. She did plan his car accident, but she never actually hit or kicked him.

"Aunt Cornelia, Lyman is my own brother, how could I possibly bully him! I..."

"Lola, Lyman has already become like this, do you really think he would still lie?!" Cornelia's face was kind, but when her expression cooled, it could freeze a person breathless.

She gave Lola a cold glance, and spoke word by word, "Lola, you have truly disappointed me!"

A sudden jolt hit Lola's heart. She had never expected Cornelia to say such heavy words to her.

She was so angry that she was gritting her teeth, but no matter who she offended, she dared not offend Cornelia.

After all, she was Zackary's favorite mommy. If she offended her, she could forget about marrying into the Spencer family peacefully!

She was incredibly confident about the drug injected into Lyman's body, she was certain, he had turned into a fool.

However, she couldn't understand, how could a fool tell lies so smoothly?!

Afraid that Cornelia would see her as a heartless woman and thus despise her, Lola desperately wanted to improve her image in the eyes of her future mother-in-law.

She looked at Lyman pitifully and began to speak, "Lyman, what on earth is going on? Why are you framing me like this? Did my sister ask you to deliberately frame me?!"

"Pretty big sister, bad guys are so scary!" Lyman looked as timid as could be, as pitiful as one could possibly imagine.

For Lyman, Cornelia truly loved him as if he were her own son. Seeing him in this state, her heart ached as if it were about to break.

She hurried to the bedside, gently grasped his hand, and comforted softly, "Lyman, don't be afraid, Aunt Cornelia is here, I won't let anyone bully you!"

"Auntie?" Lyman looked at Cornelia with a puzzled expression, "Beautiful sister, you're so young and pretty, how could you be an auntie?"

"Lyman, I am your Aunt Cornelia."

Lyman tilted his head in distress, "Alright, I'll call you Aunt Cornelia from now on! Aunt Cornelia, you look so beautiful! Just as beautiful as my pretty sister!"

Saying this, Lyman cracked a grin, revealing a mouthful of big white teeth.

Lola was even more furious. Look at this man, even if he had become a fool, he still insisted on opposing her! He showered Cornelia and Penelope with nothing but sweet talk, yet only managed to embarrass her!

She would kill him sooner or later!

But no matter how frustrated she was, she still had to persistently improve her image in Cornelia's heart.

She sobbed, tears streaming down her face like rain on pear blossoms, "Lyman, what on earth did I do wrong for my sister to deliberately tarnish my reputation like this?"

In her youth, Cornelia had battled with more white lotuses than she could count on both hands. Seeing Lola in this state, she was instantly reminded of those white lotuses she had tormented to the point of death and life.

At that moment, her face grew even colder, "Lola, Penelope just came over. What does this have to do with Penelope?!"

"Lola, your tendency to casually sling mud at others really doesn't resemble that of Chelsea's daughter!"

Upon hearing Cornelia's words, Lola's face changed drastically. She shook her head forcefully, "Aunt Cornelia, don't misunderstand, I..."

Cornelia really couldn't stand the goody-two-shoes, she didn't want to hear another word from Lola. She frowned and said to Zackary, "Zack, take Lola back to her room!"

Seeing the undisguised disgust in Cornelia's eyes, Lola couldn't help but clench her fists. Her long nails dug harshly into the soft flesh of her palms, blood dripping profusely, yet she was completely unaware.

"Samuel, take Lola back to her room to rest!" Zackary coldly glanced at Samuel standing outside the ward, speaking indifferently.

It was hilarious, Penelope's love rival Everett was still here, glaring at her. As if he would leave!

"Zackary...."

Originally, Cornelia's words had already upset Lola enough. Now, seeing that Zackary was unwilling to take her home, she felt even more distressed. Her tears just wouldn't stop.

Watching Lola's tears fall as if they were worthless, Cornelia's annoyance grew even more.

Even though Dalton had not agreed to have a paternity test with Lola, she was almost certain that she could not possibly be Chelsea's daughter.

Chelsea was so good, she could never have produced a green tea bitch like Lola!

"Lola, stop crying."

Upon hearing Cornelia's words, Lola thought she was trying to comfort her, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of joy in her heart.

However, before the corners of her lips could curve into a smile, she heard her speak again, "A woman's tears are like pearls when shed occasionally. But when a woman cries, makes a fuss, and threatens to hang herself at the drop of a hat, those tears become worthless! Lola, don't cheapen yourself like this! You, take care of yourself!"

Lola's face turned red instantly, she felt an unprecedented embarrassment in her heart. At this moment, she hated Cornelia more than ever, but she didn't dare to yell at her.

She could only speak with a sense of grievance, "Aunt Cornelia, Lyman was instigated to treat me like this, I really feel upset, that's why I would..."

"Enough!" Seeing Lola still subtly guiding everyone to treat Penelope as the villain, Cornelia could no longer bear it.

"Lola, speaking is not farting! Everyone should be responsible for their own words! You said someone instigated Lyman, Lyman has become like this, who do you say would instigate him?!"

"Samuel, take Lola back!"

"Aunt Cornelia..." Lola sobbed until she choked, but Cornelia had no intention of paying her any more attention. She waved her hand, signaling Samuel to quickly take away this annoying Lola.

Once outside the ward, Lola could no longer maintain her pitiful yet kind facade. Her small face twisted with hatred.

Lyman, Penelope, Cornelia, you all should have died!

Those who helped Penelope, they all deserved to die!

You treated me like this, I, Lola, would make you pay sooner or later!

Especially Cornelia...

If she had been allowed to live, she feared that her marriage to Zackary next month would have been jeopardized. She absolutely would not have allowed anyone to prevent her from marrying the man she loved!

Lola was too flustered and upset, she didn't notice when she left, that Lyman, who usually looked foolish, had a flash of brilliance in his eyes.

The more Cornelia thought about Lola's hypocritical and disgusting behavior earlier, the more upset she felt.

Even though she desperately wished that her oddball son Zack would hurry up and get married and have children, she still didn't want them, the Spencer family, to have such a scheming daughter-in-law.

Marrying Lola was even worse than letting Zack find a man!

After a long silence, Cornelia tentatively spoke to Zackary, "Zack, are you really going to marry Lola on the eighteenth of next month?"
