Chapter 430 Pennie, A Sight Too Horrible to Bear

"Bang!"

Pennie was just thinking about mustering up the courage to push Penelope off the cliff when she felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck. Her vision went black and she nearly collapsed to the ground.

Seizing the opportunity, Penelope quickly shook off Pennie and retreated, maintaining a relatively safe distance from her.

Pennie almost killed Penelope, but a person inexplicably rushed out to ruin her good deed. Of course, she couldn't bear it!

Just as she was about to steady herself, intending to teach a lesson to the audacious person who dared to ambush her, a wave of dizziness hit her. Her body, like a sandbag, was mercilessly thrown off the cliff by that person.

"Help!"

Pennie screamed heart-wrenchingly, reaching out, desperately trying to grasp something. However, no matter how hard she stretched her hand, she still couldn't catch anything.

She could only let herself fall heavily onto the jagged rocks below the cliff in despair, blood splattering everywhere.

Originally, she could barely stay conscious after the blow to the back of her neck. Now, after falling heavily down the cliff, she could no longer hold on.

A wave of intense pain hit her, and her world plunged into boundless darkness.

"Penny, how are you? Did you get hurt anywhere?"

Yes, it was Kemp, who had closely followed Pennie here, who heartlessly and cruelly threw her off the cliff.

Seeing Penelope's face looking unwell, Kemp's face also turned extremely grim, "Penny, are you hurt? Where do you feel uncomfortable?! I'll get the doctor right now!"

"Kemp, I'm fine, I'm just a bit tired, I want to go back and rest for a while."

Penelope said it was fine, but Kemp's furrowed brow did not relax. He grabbed her hand, carefully examining it. Earlier, he had noticed Pennie constantly clutching her wrist. He quickly rolled up her sleeve to see her wrist was red. He was immediately filled with heartache.

"Penny, I took you back to apply the medicine!"

As for Kemp's anxiety, Penelope was really speechless. Her wrist was just a bit red from being grabbed, she wasn't that delicate. It wasn't like she needed to apply medicine just because someone had grabbed her wrist a few times.

"Kemp, I'm really okay, Pennie didn't manage to hurt me, my wrist is just a bit red right now, it will be fine soon."

Thinking of Pennie still being under the cliff, Penelope pondered for a moment before asking, "Kemp, don't we need to get Pennie up here?"

"Don't worry, she won't die!" There was no trace of warmth in Kemp's voice when he mentioned Pennie, "Doesn't she like it down there? Let her sleep there tonight!"

Penelope thought Kemp's idea was quite wicked, but she liked it.

If no one offends me, I will not offend anyone. But if anyone offends me, I will retaliate a hundredfold.

Pennie had repeatedly harmed her, and she was not saintly enough to worry about her health. Tonight, if Kemp hadn't shown up in time, she would have been the one lying at the bottom of the cliff!

Pennie totally brought this upon herself, she deserved it!

The night was growing darker, and it was eerily cold outside. Since Penelope felt no remorse in her heart, she didn't want to continue standing in the cold wind. Kemp, fearing she might catch a cold, didn't even glance at the cliff below and led her towards the direction of the hotel.

It was said that Pennie's vitality was really quite tenacious.

Penelope had thought that after falling off that cliff, she would at least be unconscious until the next morning. However, as soon as he entered the hotel, Kemp received a distress call from her.

Kemp glanced at the phone screen with inscrutable eyes, thinking that his plan to teach Pennie a lesson would be more interesting. She still had to stay alive to endure it, so he picked up the call.

"Penny, what happened?"

In the past, Kemp used to call Pennie "Penny", without feeling much about it. After regaining his memory, every time he called her by this nickname, he would feel extremely nauseous.

"Kemp, save me!"

Pennie's voice sounded extremely weak, but even though it was barely a whisper, the intense hatred, gritted through her teeth, still sounded exceptionally clear.

"Penny, what happened?" Kemp feigned an extremely anxious look, "Penny, where are you now? Don't panic, I'm coming right now!"

"Kemp, I was... I was under the cliff near the Stone of Eternity, it was... it was Penelope! She pushed me down! She... she wanted to kill me!"

Penelope was not far from Kemp, and when she said these words, Pennie's voice suddenly rose several degrees. It was hard for her not to hear.

She weakly glanced at Kemp, truly feeling extremely innocent.

The person who threw Pennie off the cliff was Kemp, what does it have to do with her!

Pennie really, even if someone couldn't poop, they would blame it on her!

Having seen through Pennie's true colors and heard her words, Kemp was quite speechless.

Thinking back to the time when he mistakenly treated Pennie as his Penny, he would hurt Penelope without hesitation at her slightest provocation. Especially when he saw her broken little finger, and thought of her incurable condition, his heart ached with each throb, and his disgust for her grew even stronger.

"Kemp, save me! It hurts, it hurts..."

"Penny, don't worry, I had someone on their way!"

Having just come from the Stone of Eternity, Kemp really didn't feel like going back again. He instructed the hotel staff to carry Pennie over from there.

The manager had been worrying about not finding an opportunity to curry favor with Kemp. Now that he had received his orders, he naturally had to do things perfectly.

Soon, the manager came over with some people and carried Pennie away on a stretcher.

At that moment, Pennie looked much more miserable than Penelope had imagined. Her little face had obvious scratches. Although it didn't disfigure her, the sight was very unsightly.

She was covered in blood, with a sharp piece of glass embedded in her exposed arm. Her legs, at this point, were a ghastly sight to behold, a large expanse of bright red soaking her light pink skirt, making it loose and saggy. It was unclear whether the legs underneath had been broken.

Upon hearing the rumor of Pennie's mishap, Zackary, Lola, Everett, Alan, and his assistants all came down from upstairs.

Seeing her in this state, Lola dramatically cried out, "Penny, what on earth happened? How did you end up falling like this?!"

Pennie was in severe pain, and seeing Kemp, she felt even more wronged.

Her tears fell relentlessly, as if they cost nothing, "Kemp, it hurts, it hurts so much..."

"I heard that the scenery around the Stone of Eternity was quite good, so I wanted to go and take a look. Unexpectedly, I ran into Penelope there. She was like a madwoman, desperately pulling my arm, trying to push me off the cliff. She wanted to kill me!"

"Kemp, save me! It hurts so much, it really hurts! What on earth did I do wrong for Penelope to harm me like this over and over again?! She has already killed our child, isn't that enough?! Does she have to kill me too, to be happy?!"
