Rodney made a scene in the hospital, and because Darian was a doctor, Rodney said something even more unpleasant.

"Look at this man! He is a doctor. He tricked my fiancée away."

It didn't take long for a lot of people to gather in the corridor.I looked at Rodney's hypocritical and complacent face and felt disgusted.I used to love him. It turned out the love was suffocating when it had been torn apart.

"Dr. Wilson is my father's attending physician. I'm going to ask him about my father's condition. There was nothing wrong with him,"

I calmly explained to the ones who managed the hospital.However, there were always people who were eager to see chaos.What had happened was filmed and posted online.It had a significant impact on both my work and Darian's.I dared not to let my dad know about that. Darian still brought meals to my dad, but I was scared after what had happened.I didn't want others to be influenced.

"A man of integrity has nothing to fear. Besides, he is right. I want to pursue you."

Darian was straightforward, which surprised me. After all, the relationship with Rodney hurt me. George received a letter of complaint, saying that I had an improper work style as a teacher. He saw the video taken in the hospital.

To avoid the spotlight, George told me not to go to the institution for the time being and would assign someone else to take over my work.

I didn't expect Rodney to turn things into this.I had worked hard to get to where I was. However, I didn't expect to turn against each other with my former lover.Rodney waited for me outside my dad's ward for a long time.

Darian insisted on going out with me.I didn't refuse. In such a situation, it was a good thing to have someone by my side.

"Cecilia, I know Macey sent you those photos. Actually, there is nothing between her and me."

Rodney tried to grab my wrist, but I shook him off.

"That's enough. What happens between you has nothing to do with me."
