In two years, I paid off all the remaining payments for the new house.Darian had been keeping an appropriate distance from me for the past two years.I knew what he was thinking. He was gentle and mature, and I had a good feeling about him.If he hadn't been with my parents during the past two years, I would have been worried about them.When he made soup and brought it to my institution, my students said that we were a perfect match.I pulled Darian into my office. Darian had operated on patients for several days and had almost no time to rest, so I told him not to come.

"I can just have a quick bite at noon. Aren't you tired?"

"How could I be tired? I'm a man. Isn't it my duty to take care of you?"
