When I heard someone calling from behind, I felt annoyed.Macey attracted the attention of the Cook family.I drove back to my apartment and told my parents the whole story.My parents had disapproved of the marriage between Rodney and me since I had a car accident and had no one to take care of me.

However, since I was no longer young, they were worried that I couldn't take care of myself. I explained to them that it was no big deal.

Everything was going well at my institution. George transferred a few qualified teachers to help me.

Thinking about how I wasted my time on the one who didn't deserve that, I just wanted to work harder.

The house I bought was being renovated.As long as the renovation was completed, I would invite my parents to live with me.

One night, my mom suddenly called me and said that my dad had suddenly fainted.I rushed to the hospital.

I found the ward and knew that my dad was suffering from high blood pressure.My mom said it was all thanks to the care of Darian Wilson, my dad's attending physician.I planned to treat Darian to dinner when my dad was discharged from the hospital.

There were many issues to be handled in the institution, and my dad needed to be taken care of.

It was the first time I felt how hard it was to deal with everything on my own.The first time I saw Darian was when he brought food for my dad.He was tall and good-looking, so he was attractive.

"Dr. Wilson, thank you so much."

Darian smiled and said a few words of concern.My mom asked me to talk more to Darian. After I went out with him, I was about to invite him to dinner.However, I didn't expect Macey to be living in the next ward.Rodney, who had just come back from buying food, happened to see me.At that moment, he focused his attention on Darian, who was beside me.

"Cecilia, you insisted on breaking up with me. It turns out that you have a new love."

I looked at Darian. Rodney was good at making excuses for himself.

"I have made things clear between us."

I felt sorry for Darian.Rodney didn't intend to let me go.

"We have been together for so many years. You depended on me at my house. Now, you want to break up with me because there is another man. Do you have any shame?"

I looked at Rodney in surprise as he suddenly blamed me.

I didn't know why he became like this. He used to be gentle and polite when we were in school.Sure enough, I made the right choice to leave.
