Chapter 6

My name is Nina. Daddy gave me that name because I was his precious little girl.

Daddy spoiled me a lot. If I wanted a toy, he would buy it for me. If I wanted to go to the amusement park, he would make time to take me and Mommy. Every year on my birthday, he would surprise me with gifts and make me feel so special.

I always believed Daddy only loved Mommy and me. But one day, I realized that wasn't entirely true.

Mommy had taken me to a gathering with her friends, and one of the aunties mentioned that Cindy had come back.

Mommy's face changed the moment she heard the name. She didn't say anything, but I could tell she wasn't happy.
